After much research online we decided to start selling Odell Borg's High Spirits Flutes at Creativity Tones.  We are a High Spirits Flutes partner in Campbell River, B.C.  We like Odell's enthusiasm and expertise in making high quality flutes at fairly reasonable prices.  The flutes are priced at many different price points with many variabilities to chose from. High Spirits Flutes are made in Arizona by Odell Borg and his team. They have lots of different keys of flutes and styles that can be found on the High Spirits Flutes website.  As a High Spirits Flute Partner and seller in Canada, we can order in any of the flutes that are available at High Spirits.  We have a good supply of flutes here at Creativity Tones. We really like Odell's simple explanations on playing flutes, choosing a flute, and caring for flutes. The booklet that is provided with each High Spirits Flute is very informative and helpful. The High Spirits videos are also excellent on the their Website highspirits.com and on YouTube.

Creativity Tones is a High Spirits Flutes Partner.  High Spirits were the first "Native American Style Flutes" that we purchased and played.  We have enjoyed trying out many flutes and never found any problems with any of the High Spirits Flutes.  All our experiences have been very positive. It's fun to be learning new things every time we play.  We're definitely very happy with all our flute choices. It just takes a little time to get the knack to play these flutes. Just some simple fingering techniques and using one's breath softly are all that is really needed. No musical knowledge is required!  We can help you.

 

We are hoping to find enough interest and enough flute players to start up some flute circles here in the Campbell River Area and in other areas on Vancouver Island in the Future!  Maybe join in with some of the drum circles in your area?

 

Odell Borg has learned a lot in his flute making Journey at High Spirits Flutes. He and his company have many helpful flute videos on their web pages and on YouTube. There are many different styles and patterns and sizes of wooden flutes out there!  Many original flutes have unique characteristics and tones. Have fun choosing one for yourself!

Are High Spirits Flutes Handmade?

 

High Spirits Flutes are all made in Patagonia, Arizona. They have been making flutes since 1990. The term "hand made" is always a bit confusing. Like most instrument makers High Spirits Flutes use power tools to cut & shape the flutes, but from their perspective all their flutes are definitely hand made in that they take each flute through its creation process from selecting the wood, milling, boring, crafting the sound mechanism, oiling and polish, and finally, accurately tuning each flute individually.

While living and working up North, Mel was able to see and hear some original, amazing, Haida Flutes and Whistles up close. The experience was definitely uplifting and one of those life changing experiences... He's so glad to be able to start playing flutes too, after all those years!  It has been an amazing Journey with wooden flutes by using our breath for peaceful serenity and uplifting energy and health!  Wow!!!  Amazing Native Style Flutes to play and learn with and also get healthy with improving our breath!  That's been our experience!
